2050年までに人が身体、脳、空間、時間の制約から解放された社会の実現を目指すムーンショット目標1のもと、金井プロジェクト「Internet of Brains（IoB）」は、2020年度の発足以来、脳と機械、そして脳と脳をつなぐための技術基盤の研究開発を進めてきました。
このたび Phase 1 から Phase 2 へと移行し、本プロジェクトは研究開発の新たな段階に入ります。本キックオフシンポジウムは、Phase 2 の始動を示すとともに、次のフェーズに向けたプロジェクトのビジョンを国内外の研究者・関係機関の皆さまと共有する機会となるものです。
シンポジウムでは、Phase 2 の全体像とあわせて、各研究課題の現状と今後の方向性をご紹介します。また、Phase 2 から新たに参画する研究者の紹介も行い、国内外における議論・交流と、新たな研究連携の創出の場を提供します。

本シンポジウムは、こうした議論と交流を通じて、ニューロテクノロジー研究を前進させ、社会との今後の関係を探っていくための出発点となることを目指します。

  Access: Approximately a 5-minute walk from Exit B2 of Omote-sando Station (Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Chiyoda Lines)

• Language: English (Please note that simultaneous interpretation is not currently planned.)
• Capacity: 100 participants (Advance registration required)
• Participation Fee: Free. Please note that a separate fee will be required for the networking reception scheduled for Wednesday, November 11. Further details will be announced at a later date.
