【IoB Interface & Development of Fundamental Technologies】IoB Symposium Featured in "Magazine for People with Disabilities and Work"

On Thursday, November 20, the symposium titled “Internet of Brains: A Blueprint for Connecting the Brain to the World” (held on October 9–10, 2025) was featured in an article by the Magazine for People with Disabilities and Work. The article is titled: “Utilizing BMI for Rehabilitation and Communication for People with Severe Disabilities; Development of User Guidebooks and More” (only in Japanese).

The article highlights research on non-invasive devices by Dr. Junichi Ushiba (IoB Interface Group), mood estimation from non-contact information by Dr. Ai Koizumi (IoB Interface Group), and legal and ethical research by Dr. Keigo Komamura and Dr. Mitsuaki Takemi (Development of Fundamental Technologies Group).

On Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10, 2025, the Moonshot Goal 1 Kanai Project held a symposium at Miraikan (The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation) in Odaiba, Tokyo. The event presented the research results from the project’s five-year “Internet of Brains” initiative.

The two-day program included presentations of research findings, panel discussions, workshops, and demo exhibits, fostering dialogue with a large number of participants.
