On Thursday, November 20, the magazine “障がい者としごとマガジン(People with Disabilities and Work Magazine)”(only Japanese) published an article titled “Utilizing BMI for Rehabilitation and Communication for the Severely Disabled; Creating User Guidebooks,” reporting on the symposium “Internet of Brains: A Blueprint for Connecting the Brain to the World,” held on October 9–10, 2025.
The article featured research by the IoB Interface Group Dr. Junichi Ushiba (Non-Invasive BMI) and Dr. Ai Koizumi (Mood Estimation from Non-Contact Information). It also featured the legal and ethical research conducted by Dr. Keigo Komamura and Dr. Mitsuaki Takemi of the Development of Fundamental Technologies Group.
