On September 5, 2026, research by IoB participant Shinichi Furuya (Researcher, Sony Computer Science Laboratories / IoB Interface Team) will be featured on “Tokoro-san! Jiken desu yo,” airing on NHK General TV on Saturday, September 5 at 18:05.

The episode, titled “Your veins are vanishing!? The hidden world of hands,” takes a close look at the mysteries hidden in our own hands. Within the feature, Furuya’s research on surmounting the limits of expertise through “previously impossible” movements enabled by an exoskeleton robot is scheduled to be introduced.
