Keio University’s official web media “Keio FUTURE” has published an interview with Professor Junichi Ushiba of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University (IoB Interface group),  titled “The Future Opened by ‘Gentle BMI’:  Believing in the Brain’s Resilience and Drawing Out Human Potential Through Technology”.

 One installment in the series <“AI”  × “Innovation Ecosystem” : Perspectives on Social Implementation and Future Creation>, the article covers his path in BMI rehabilitation research centered on the brain’s plasticity, the development of a headphone-type wireless electroencephalograph that aims to make non-invasive BMI usable in everyday life. It also touches on his artificial tail research and his thoughts on the relationship between science and art.
