An interview article featuring Dr. Ryota Kanai, Program Manager of the IoB project under Moonshot Goal 1, was published on April 15 in Volume 2 of the online media series “Public-Private Co-Creation for Innovation” on xTECH (available only in Japanese).

In the article, Kanai engages in an in-depth discussion with Yoko Ikeda, Director of the Office for Market Competition Policy at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Their conversation covers a wide range of topics, including the future vision of the project, the potential of BMI technology and the challenges of its social implementation (such as ethics, public acceptance, and international collaboration), as well as the importance of “cross-border talents” who bridge the gap between research and business.
