We are thrilled to announce that “Neu World” and “Visionary Lab”—both part of the Moonshot Goal 1 Kanai Project “Internet of Brains (IoB)”—will be participating in “SF Carnival 2026”! Join us for this two-day event at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Exhibition & Event Details

1. Booth Exhibition: [Read & Play] Sci-Fi Showcase & Brainwave Game Experience

Throughout the event, we will be hosting an outdoor booth next to Building 3 at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books.

  • [Read] Sci-Fi Works Exhibition Browse physical samples of the sci-fi stories produced and published by Neu World. Science communicators will be stationed at the booth. Come and expand your imagination with us about IoB research and the future that lies ahead!

  • [Play] Brainwave Game Experience “NeuroWizards,” a brainwave game developed by Visionary Lab, is coming to our booth! Put on a simplified EEG headset developed as part of the Moonshot Research and Development Program, and use your brainwaves to defeat a dragon—be sure to experience this exclusive, futuristic game!

2. Talk Event (in Japanese): “Speculative Science Communication Starts Now”

  • Date & Time: Sunday, April 12, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, Bldg. 3, 2F, Share Lounge or Zoom
  • Speakers: Dojin Miyamoto, Ryu Miyata, Iwao Kuma, Yume Horikawa

This session introduces the practice of “Speculative Science Communication,” which applies science fiction methods to scientific outreach. The speakers will share unique field insights, including real-world examples and the pros and cons of this approach. Don’t miss this rare discussion where science and fiction collide!
